Alberta Election 2015: Wildrose’s Ron Orr wins Lacombe-Ponoka

Ron Orr won the Lacombe-Ponoka seat for the Wildrose Party on May 5.

The riding in central Alberta, north of Red Deer, was a Conservative stronghold from the 1970s until 2012, when Rod Fox won the seat for the Wildrose Party. Fox crossed the floor to the PC party in December 2014. He failed to win the PC nomination for this election.
