People lined up to pay their last respects to Cardinal Jean-Claude Turcotte at Mary Queen of the World cathedral on Thursday in Montreal.

Turcotte passed away on Apr. 8 at the age of 78 after a lengthy illness.

A funeral will held in Montreal’s Mary Queen of the World Cathedral on Friday.
