VANCOUVER – The B.C. Liberals have unleashed an attack ad on NDP leader Adrian Dix, slamming his economic record in the 1990’s when the New Democrats were in power.
The ad, appearing on TV and the Internet site RiskyDix.ca, says Dix was a key player in the NDP government when the average family paid 60 per cent more in personal income taxes.

It also says BC was last in job growth, and 50,000 people left province while the NDP was in power.
The ad says Dix wants to raise taxes again and increase spending by billions of dollars.
Dix has promised to roll back Liberal tax cuts for corporations and banks, saying the tax breaks will amount to $600 million by the end of next year.
He’s also blasted the Liberals’ own economic record, pointing to the disaster with the harmonized sale tax.
