Regina – The opening of the new regional hospital in Moose Jaw has been delayed.

It was originally expected to open in mid-August, but it’s now not expected to be taking patients until October.

The Five Hills Health Region says installing the building’s IT network is more complex than previously thought. Installation cannot begin until construction nears completion in May.

The project is still on budget.
