CALGARY – One man was rushed to hospital on Monday after being stabbed in the downtown core.

Police were called to the 800 block of 4th Avenue S.W. by a security guard who discovered the victim around 12:30 a.m.
Police say the man suffered several stab wounds to the upper torso and at least one to the face.
Officers don’t yet know where the stabbing occurred.
Police say the victim remains in hospital in serious but stable condition.
