Their video uploaded to YouTube, which shows a peculiar bond between their cat and baby, is going viral.

A black cat named Stewie pats the head of crying baby Connar, lulling him to sleep.

While some of the comments posted below the video are wary of a cat, declawed or not, pawing at a baby’s head, the parents of baby Connar couldn’t be happier, saying the cutest part of the video is right at the end when Stewie stares directly at the camera, as if saying ‘job well done.’

The video “cat soothing crying baby to sleep” was uploaded in September 2011, but has had a recent surge in popularity after being featured on social media-sharing website, BuzzFeed. It now has over 300,000 views on YouTube.
