According to a report in the Toronto Star, the new bus service will begin April 13 at a cost of $125,000 and will run for one year.

Commuters will be able to download an app called RideCo, which can be used on a computer or a smartphone, to book a ride in the morning or coming home from work.

Users will be billed $1.95 for each one-way ride, which is in addition to the train fare.

Milton officials say the personalized transit option is a way to compliment the town’s fledgling bus service and create a smoother commuting experience for riders who cannot find spots in the overcrowded GO train parking lot.
