HALIFAX – Police are looking for a man who allegedly stabbed another man in the face during a confrontation outside the Halifax Central Library on Tuesday.
Police say a 35-year-old man was hurt during an incident around 12:45 p.m. and the suspect fled the scene.
The victim was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The suspect is described as a white man, 6 feet tall, 220 pounds, in his 20s with a shaved head. When he left the area, he was wearing a red hat, gray t-shirt and jeans.
Police are still investigating. Anybody with information is being asked to contact Halifax Regional Police or Crime Stoppers.
