A handful of picketers walked the street outside the centre to push for it to reopen.
“We understand there was a board meeting this weekend to decide what that outcome is going to be for people so we are just anticipating that like everyone else,” says picketer Colin Drought.
A board member told Global Okanagan only preliminary discussions were underway and no firm decision will be made for quite some time.
Some board members say they will discuss the fate of the Naramata Centre at an upcoming annual general meeting in June. Possible options include leasing, selling, or forming a business partnership with another operator.
