WINNIPEG – School is cancelled Thursday at Reston School in southwestern Manitoba due to a power and water outage.

A Manitoba Hydro spokesman said they were still gathering information about the outage, but the school website announced the closure.

Reston is 285 kilometres west of Winnipeg near the Saskatchewan border.
