The winter weather crawling across the U.S. reached as far south as Texas Monday, bringing some freezing rain and a dusting of snow to the Lone Star State.
In Plano, Texas, a driver took advantage of the slippery roads and had some fun making “doughnuts” in the nearly empty parking lot of Collin Creek Mall.

A news helicopter captured the driver of the black Mercedes as he slid around the lot for several minutes before parking his car and walking into the mall.
Later in the day, the mall tweeted that it would be closing its doors early because of the cold temperatures.
