MONTREAL — Montreal police have arrested a suspect in connection with at least 30 thefts of cash, keys and personal effects from pharmacies, health clinics and educational institutions.
Twenty-eight-year-old Isabelle Labonté allegedly altered her appearance in order to escape detection during the numerous thefts that took place between March 2014 and January 2015.
Labonté was arrested on Jan. 26 and faces charges related to breaking and entering, theft of under $5,000 and fencing stolen goods.
Police suggested that Labonté may have committed even more thefts, and they are asking anyone with further information to contact a local police station or call 911.
