BRAMPTON, Ont. – A Toronto criminal lawyer is facing charges after being led from a Brampton, Ont., courthouse in handcuffs Thursday.
Police allege the lawyer smuggled drugs into the courthouse and was arrested at 10 a.m. yesterday morning.

Peel police have charged 32-year-old Laura Liscio with possession of a controlled substance, possession for the purpose of trafficking, obstructing justice, and breach of trust.
According to the Toronto Star, the charges come after marijuana was found in clothing provided to an inmate scheduled to appear before a judge.
The lawyer was representing a Brampton man facing several weapons offenses
Liscio is to appear in court on March 12 to face the allegations.
