WINNIPEG – A snowfall warning for a swath of Manitoba has been extended from the Saskatchewan border all the way to the Ontario border.

A series of Alberta clippers blowing over the Prairies will bring 15 to 25 centimetres of snow by Saturday evening to the Parklands, Interlake and the region east of Lake Winnipeg, Environment Canada warned.

The Alberta clippers will bring two rounds of snow, the warning says. The first will start Friday afternoon and end overnight Friday, and the second will start early Friday morning and end Saturday evening, Environment Canada forecast.
