Vancouver Police have arrested a man who allegedly tried to stab someone to death last night in an East Vancouver apartment.
A Canada-wide warrant was issued for Andrew Charles Baldwin this afternoon for attempted murder and aggravated assault. Police say he attacked a 28-year-old woman in an apartment in the 1500 block of East 6th Avenue around 10 p.m.
When police arrived, the woman had serious stab wounds, but she’s currently in stable condition. They say Baldwin knew the woman and fled the apartment just before they arrived.
Hours after the release was put out by Vancouver Police, Baldwin was arrested.
