Calgary Transit bus crash injures two

A crash involving a Calgary Transit bus sent two people to hospital Monday morning.

EMS said the bus driver, who’s in his 50s, and another man in his 60s, suffered minor injuries.

Passengers on the bus were assessed by paramedics, but were not hurt.

Three vehicles were involved in the crash, just before noon, on Glenmore Trail between 14 Street and Elbow Drive S.W.

According to witnesses, a Volvo SUV spun out of control and struck the bus after rear-ending a white pickup truck.

Calgary police continue to investigate; there’s no word on any charges.
