Saskatchewan RCMP searching for man who escaped custody

STONY RAPIDS, Sask. – RCMP are looking for a 21-year-old man who escaped from a court house in northern Saskatchewan last week. On Jan. 21, Mounties were in provincial court in Black Lake, Sask. with four prisoners when Soloman Toutsaint when he ran away.

He is facing two counts of breaking and entering and is not considered violent.

Investigators initially believed he was in or around the Stony Rapids or Black Lake areas but several searches have been unsuccessful, so they are asking for the public’s help.

RCMP are concerned because snow and cold temperatures are forecast.

Toutsaint is described as being of First Nations descent, five-foot nine-inches, approximately 150 pounds with a slender build, short black hair and brown eyes.
