REGINA – Two teenagers are dead following a head-on snowmobile crash east of Southey Friday evening.
RCMP say a 19-year-old man from Markinch and a 15-year-old boy from Southey collided while driving towards each other in the north ditch on Highway 22.

When officers arrived around 10 p.m., both riders were unconscious and had sustained serious injuries. The 19-year-old was travelling with a pack of three sleds, while the 15-year-old was riding with one other snowmobile.
Police believe both teens were drinking alcohol prior to going out riding.
