$9,000 in poker chips stolen from Casino Calgary

CALGARY – Police are searching for a man who ran off with $9,000 worth of poker chips from a northeast casino.

It happened just before 3 a.m. at Casino Calgary in the 1400 block of Meridian Road N.E.

Police say the suspect is a regular at the casino who grabbed the chips and ran.

The investigation is ongoing, but officers say the whole thing was caught on surveillance cameras.
