TORONTO – Police have lifted the hold-and-secures at schools near Artesian Drive in Mississauga after a man was found seriously stabbed in the area Friday morning.
Police say they responded to a call around 10 a.m. of a man with unknown injuries.
They arrived to find the man suffering from multiple stab wounds.
The victim was later taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
There’s no word yet on any suspects.
Authorities say the hold and secure orders at the schools were placed as a precaution.
Police have closed off the surrounding area for the investigation.
