TORONTO — Food Network personality Giada De Laurentiis announced Monday she and her husband. fashion designer Todd Thompson, are ending their marriage after more than 11 years.
In a message posted on her Facebook page, the 44-year-old host of Giada at Home revealed the couple separated in July.
“Our focus on the future and overwhelming desire for our family’s happiness has given us the strength to move forward on separate, yet always connected paths,” De Laurentiis wrote.

“Todd and I share a beautiful daughter and a lifetime of great memories that we both treasure more than anything. We are so thankful for our friends and family, and really appreciate the support in this time of change.”
De Laurentiis and Thompson are parents of 6-year-old Jade Marie.
De Laurentiis, who won a Daytime Emmy Award in 2008, is also the author of several cookbooks, including last year’s Giada’s Feel Good Food.
Giada at Home does not currently air on Food Network in Canada.
