A serious collision on the Sea to Sky Highway sent two people to hospital Sunday morning.
According to Squamish RCMP, a Mazda van heading southbound crossed a tree-lined median and hit a truck travelling northbound.
The driver of the Mazda was seriously injured and airlifted to Vancouver General Hospital where he underwent surgery. The other driver was taken to Lions Gate Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Police are not sure why the driver of the Mazda lost control.
Drivers faced delays along Highway 99 for most of the day.
