PENTICTON, B.C. — Penticton Regional Hospital is one step closer to getting a new $325 million patient care tower. Six groups have applied to design, build, partially finance and maintain the patient care tower. Now three of the teams will move forward in the selection process.
“Each completed stage of the competitive selection process brings us closer to the start of construction,” says Penticton MLA Dan Ashton.
“The new patient care tower is eagerly anticipated by our community and I’m looking forward to seeing the first shovel in the ground.”
The three proponents are Ellis Don Infrastructure, Plenary Health and Tandem Health Partners.
The teams are invited to move on to the Request for Proposal stage, which is expected to be released to them by February 2015.
