“Homeless Partners” is a website where people in nine cities across Canada can tell their stories and make Christmas wish lists.

Gifts from their lists are then bought by members of the public and delivered to the person in need — simple things that can make a world of difference, like warm shoes or bus tickets.

The program is now in its ninth year and demand is high.

With eight days to go until Christmas, many gifts still haven’t been purchased.
