KELOWNA – A pair of Okanagan sexual perverts has been handed jail sentences for child pornography offenses.
In Vernon, Kelvin Jan Walker admitted to accessing child pornography. He was sentenced to one year in jail followed by three years probation.
In Kelowna, Terrance Richard Avery pleaded guilty to possessing child pornography. He must serve three months in jail.

And in separate cases, two men made court appearances Thursday accused of similar offenses.
Police executed a search warrant at the West Kelowna residence of Scott Wade Nykolaishen in July, seizing computer equipment allegedly containing 120 child porn files.
And a Vernon man, Jeffery Howard Goldenthal, is charged with two counts of possessing child pornography and one count of importing or distributing the illegal images.
In the south Okanagan, Shaun David Randall of Osoyoos was recently charged with three child porn offenses including making sexually explicit material available to a person under the age of 16 years.
His next court appearance is December 17th.
