Jackson Houck opened the scoring for the Giants in the third period, setting off a barrage of teddy bears hitting the ice.
Houck went on to score the shootout winner to give the Giants a 3-2 victory over the Saskatoon Blades.
The Giants were not the only WHL team to hold a Teddy Bear Toss this weekend. Fans at Sunday’s Edmonton Oil Kings game threw more than 11,000 bears onto the ice.
