The hit list

With 14 women killed and another 14 injured inside the Polytechnique building, Canadians were shocked to find out that killer Marc Lepine had a hit list of 19 other women he wanted dead.

One of the names on that list was Francine Pelletier, a journalist for La Presse at the time.

A sister never forgotten

Anne-Marie Edward was just 21-years-old when she was killed at École Polytechnique on December 6, 1989.

On the 25th anniversary of her death, Anne-Marie’s brother Jim Edward set up a memorial tribute page on Facebook so that the sister he loved so much would be remembered not as a victim, but as a remarkable, funny, vibrant young lady.
