Scott Fee’s Christmas cookie recipe

Scott Fee, Amber Schinkel, Jordan Witzel and Leslie Horton are revealing the recipes for their favourite holiday treats on the Morning News.

Scott Fee: Sugar Cookies

  • 2 cups all purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 tablespoon milk

Mix flour, baking. powder and salt. Cream butter until soft, beat in sugar, egg, vanilla and milk.

Add to flour mixture, mixing well.

Wrap dough in foil or plastic wrap and chill at least thirty minutes.

Place on lightly floured board and roll to 1/8 thickness and cut with cookie cutter of choice.

Place on ungreased baking sheet.

Bake at 375 for 10 minutes.
