SASKATOON – A woman is recovering in a Saskatoon hospital and drunk driving charges are pending after a vehicle hit a pedestrian late Monday evening. It happened just before 11 p.m. on 22nd Street West.

Police say the driver of the eastbound vehicle lost control and struck the woman. She was taken to hospital with serious, but non-life threatening injuries.
Drinking and driving related charges are pending against the 29-year-old driver.
Police continue to investigate.
