She had courage and fitness in check but found it difficult to climb up the railing without her cowboy gear.  The struggle was real and it took a few attempts to figure out how to get on the bull named French Connection.

Then finally, cowboy Zane Lambert did what anyone gentleman would do and gave her a hand.

The Global News spent the morning with professional bull riders ahead of their national competition that begins Nov. 14 at SaskTel Centre. Pro riders from across the globe make it down to the event to earn the title of being the best at PBR Canada.

This is the fifth year the event has been held in Saskatoon.
