REGINA – Regina police say a thorough search of well sites identified in a tip posted online has turned up no evidence of Tamra Keepness or of anything connected to her.
Last week an individual with the username “MySecretIsOut” posted a crudely-drawn map to the reddit website with the caption “location of Tamra Keepness, check the wells.”
Investigators with the Regina Police Service coordinated with the Fort Qu’Appelle RCMP detachment to identify nearly two dozen well sites in the area indicated on the map.
On Thursday, each of the wells was thoroughly investigated using a specialized camera, but nothing was found.
Investigators are now confident that the tip is not valid, and have found nothing to authenticate the map or any other information contained in the original post.
