UPDATE: Revelstoke man who was missing for 2 days has died

REVELSTOKE, B.C. — A sad end to the search for a missing Revelstoke man.

RCMP say Scott Grady has been found and is dead.

Grady was reported missing by his brother when he did not arrive in Nelson on Wednesday.

RCMP say they found Grady’s 2005 Toyota Tacoma a day later with most of his belongings and identification left in the vehicle.

Late Friday, the RCMP announced he had been located after the Police Dog Service had conducted a search of the area around the vehicle.

They aren’t releasing any further information at the request of the family of the deceased and have referred any inquiries to the BC Coroner’s Service.
