EDMONTON – Greyhound is searching for a new home for its Edmonton depot after the city decided a proposed site in northwest Edmonton is no longer an option.
Greyhound had asked city council to rezone land near 123 St. and Yellowhead Trail where its maintenance yard sits.

Residents of the the Prince Charles neighbourhood lobbied against the rezoning, saying a new station would add to an already delicate traffic situation in the area.
Greyhound officials argue those with land will now increase prices because they now know the bus carrier has nowhere to go.
The current station at 104 St. and 103 Ave. will soon be forced to move because of the new downtown arena development.
