MADD Toronto launches Red Ribbon Campaign

TORONTO – MADD Toronto launched Tuesday morning the 2014 Project Red Ribbon Campaign to promote sober driving this holiday season.

This year marks the 27th anniversary of the campaign which runs from Nov. 1 to Jan. 7, 2015.

Across the country, Canadians are being asked to tie a red ribbon to a vehicle, backpack, purse, key chain or briefcase to symbolizes the commitment to drive sober during the holiday season.

According to statistics, an average of four Canadians a day are killed as a result of impaired driving.
