The company in charge of the construction site at York University where a man died October 11 in the collapse of a digging machine, has released a statement about the incident.

“On Tuesday, October 11 at 2:30 pm a construction accident occurred at the construction site of the York University Subway station. As has been reported in the media, this accident tragically took the life of one of our own.

We are deeply saddened by the loss of our employee and above all else, our thoughts and condolences are with his family.
