The aquatics area at the Penticton Community Centre will be closed for the rest of Wednesday after the main and leisure pools were fouled by a young child.
According to a tweet and Facebook post from Penticton Recreation, the pools will re-open on Thursday at 6 a.m.

City staff say the fouling will take about eight hours to clean up.
Meanwhile, officials say there are no health risks to the public.
The tweet and post say people will receive credit for missed swimming classes and progress cards can still be picked up at the front desk.
