WATCH: Panda cubs won’t take their meds

TORONTO – Giving medicine to one-year-olds can be tough but, giving meds to two panda cubs is even tougher.

A keeper at the Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding in southwestern China had a difficult time administering oral medication to two pandas that wanted nothing to do with it.

Instead, the cubs wanted to play.

Video of the interaction shows the keeper struggling to feed the young pandas with a syringe as the pandas climbed on his back and tugged at his legs.

The keeper managed to give the cubs the medicine…eventually.
