SASKATOON – A former member of the Hells Angels has been found guilty of threatening to kill his former boss.
Jesse Bitz was found guilty Friday in Saskatoon Court of Queen’s Bench of uttering threats against Leonard Banga in 2012 and again last year.
Court heard that Bitz had worked for Banga, who owns a company called Xtreme Mining and Demolition, but Banga fired him in 2012.
The Crown is seeking a 12-month conditional sentence in the community, while the defence wants Bitz to be given one year of probation.
Justice Neil Gabrielson has reserved his decision on sentencing until Nov. 7.
