Students of a fire damaged Laura Secord Elementary School will be returning to class Wednesday, but to a different location.
Classes were cancelled at Laura Secord Elementary School last Wednesday after an insulation fire next to the building caused thick, toxic smoke to pour inside.

Officials have chosen four alternate locations for the school’s 600 students.
Laura Secord Elementary School is expected to be re-opened next Monday.

“The school is looking much better. But there was a lot of smoke that got into the building. We want to make sure that everything is ready for all the children so everyone can come back at the same time, said Laura Secord E.S. principal Heather Boswick.
