TORONTO — A number of British shows, including a comedy series starring Jon Hamm and Daniel Radcliffe, will soon be available in Canada on shomi.
In A Young Doctor’s Notebook & Other Stories, adapted from the autobiographical works of Russian author and playwright Mikhail Bulgakov, Radcliffe plays the younger version of Hamm’s character.

The series debuted in 2012 in the UK and a year later in the U.S.

shomi announced Friday its deal with BBC Worldwide will also bring the comedies Way to Go, Moone Boy and The Wrong Mans as well as dramas The Honourable Woman and Top of the Lake to the service.
Previous seasons of A Bit of Fry & Laurie, Doctor Who and Top Gear will also be available.
shomi, a partnership between Rogers and Shaw (parent company of Global News), will be available in November to TV and Internet customers of Rogers and Shaw for $8.99 a month.
