At 6:45 we’ll tell you about an exciting food drive happening Thursday at Shannon Park Elementary School. Students will host a massive food drive in support of Free The Children’s We Scare Hunger campaign – their goal, to collect 4,000 lbs of non-perishable food to help their community.

It’s being talked about as the scariest attraction in our region where only the brave survive. At 7:15 we’ll have friend of the show Emmett Blois on to talk about his latest haunted corn maze. Nights of Gore has been scaring the pants off Nova Scotians throughout October and Emmett will talk to us about how it’s all made and what brave souls can expect on Halloween night!

An exciting first in Halifax – the inaugural Women in Business HFX Trade Show takes place this Saturday at the Dartmouth Sportsplex.  It’s a chance for consumers to shop local and for business-owners to learn and connect.
