Honouring the fallen: The route of Cpl. Nathan Cirillo’s final journey home

TORONTO  – Corporal Nathan Cirillo will make his final journey home Friday along the Highway of Heroes.

The procession taking Cirillo back to Hamilton is expected to leave Ottawa at 1:30 p.m. ET.

The escort is expected to take his body to Highway 416, then Highway 401 along the Highway of Heroes. The procession will get off Highway 401 at Highway 404 and travel north to Highway 407.

The cars are expected to travel along Highway 407 to Highway 403 which it will stay on until the cars exit at Main Street in Hamilton.
