Stolen property from a chop shop recovered

RCMP and Calgary police have recovered stolen property from a rural chop shop just northeast of Calgary.

The property, which was stored in a quonset near Conrich in Rockyview County, is valued at approximately $250,000.00.

It includes vehicles, ATV’s, travel trailers, farm equipment and saddles.

Two men, 74-year-old Richard Ferber of Black Diamond and 68-year-old Harris parent of Calgary, have been charged with possession of stolen property.

Ferber is also charged with possession of stolen property for the purpose of trafficking.
