VANCOUVER – Saanich Police say a 30-year-old man wanted in Windsor Ontario for sex crimes was arrested in their community on Friday.
Thirty-year-old Brandon Wheeler, wanted on a Canada-wide warrant, was spotted by an observant citizen who then called the police.
Officers went to the residential neighbourhood known as the ‘Saanich panhandle’, which is between Foul Bay Road and Richmond Road, and Lansdowne Road and Fort Street, and found Wheeler there.
He has been remanded in custody and will be transported back to the Windsor area to face the alleged charges.
Wheeler faces two counts of sexual assault, two counts of sexual interference and two counts of invitation to sexual touching.
