This will be Fragedakis’ second term on council.

Fragedakis has highlighted the treatment of seniors as a core campaign issue, citing a report by the city’s ombudsman that investigated Toronto Community Housing Corporation’s practice of evicting seniors. The ward has an ageing population: City data show the number of residents between the ages of 60 to 64 grew by almost 37 per cent from 2006 to 2011 (compared to 28.8 per cent for the city overall).
