Thompson holds Ward 37 Scarborough Centre with 80% of vote

TORONTO – Michael Thompson was reelected easily in Ward 37, Scarborough Centre picking up 80 per cent of the vote.

First elected to council in 2003, Thompson won the 2010 election with a whopping 83 per cent majority and and 15,129 votes. Currently, he is among Scarborough-area city councillors campaigning to replace the Scarborough RT with a tunnelled extension of the Bloor-Danforth subway.
