Surrey RCMP are investigating a serious late night stabbing in the Newton area.
The victim has serious, but non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to hospital.

It appears as though he was attacked around 11:30 last night in an apartment building kitty corner to 72nd and King George Boulevard.
One person was spotted at the scene in the back of a police cruiser.
It’s not clear whether he is a suspect.
Investigators aren’t saying anything at this point about a possible motive in the incident.
