CALGARY – Police are investigating after the discovery of a pipe bomb in a northeast community on Thursday.
Officers were called to the 100 block of Falwood Way N.E. around 10:30 p.m. for reports of a suspicious device.

It was initially investigated by the arson unit, who determined it to be a pipe bomb.
The tactical unit then detonated the device and disposed of it.
