ALDERGROVE – There was an attempted abduction at Aldergrove Community Secondary School earlier this afternoon.
In a release posted on the school’s web site, principal Gord Stewart said a suspect driving a red pick-up truck tried to abduct a Grade 12 student, but she managed to fight him off.

The man is described as Caucasian and in his early 30s. He was wearing a white T-shirt at the time. It appears his truck had some rust on it.
Stewart says the school community and RCMP have been made aware of the incident.
