HALIFAX – A man from Central Caribou is facing two charges of impaired driving for two separate incidents that happened less than 24 hours apart.
Brian Logan MacDonald, 48, was arrested and charged Saturday afternoon for failing to stop at the scene of an accident after a crash on Chapel Street in Pictou. He was also charged with impaired driving,
He was held overnight and released Sunday morning when he was sober.
However, later that morning, MacDonald was arrested and charged again for impaired driving.
“It’s troubling to see that people continue to risk their own lives and the lives of others on a regular basis,” said Sgt. Kevin Dunlevy with Pictou County District RCMP.
MacDonald was held overnight and appeared in Pictou Court Monday.
